Located on a small island off the coast of Massachusetts, this saltbox rests in the perfect location overlooking a small tidal pond that drains into the Atlantic Ocean. I shot the house using 3 images shot with a Fuji GFX100s medium format camera. The stuffed striped bass hangs in the house of a dear friend and I remembered that I had a shot of it in my vast archive of over 750,000 images on my computer. I played around with the idea of placing the fish on the outside of the house because striped bass are plentiful in New England. The sky was made with an opaque layer of watercolor on top.
