Last updated: January 16, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Evan McGlinn Studio (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you visit evanmcglinnstudio.com (the “Site”) or contact us through the Site.
1) Information we collect
Information you provide
When you submit a form or contact us, we may collect:
Name, email address, and phone number (if provided)
Message content and any details you choose to share (e.g., intended display space, size preferences, timeline, budget range if you provide it)
Any files/images you choose to send (for example, a photo of your wall/space if you request mockups)
Information collected automatically
Squarespace (our website platform) and other tools we use may automatically collect information about how you interact with the Site, such as IP address, browser/device information, pages viewed, time spent, and referral information. Squarespace sites also use cookies and similar technologies for site functionality and analytics.
2) How we use your information
We use information to:
Respond to inquiries and provide consultations
Provide recommendations, sizing guidance, and mockups if requested
Maintain and protect the Site (security, performance, troubleshooting)
Measure and improve advertising performance (if you came via an ad)
We do not sell prints directly on the Site, and we do not send marketing emails unless you separately request follow-up.
3) Cookies, analytics, and advertising (Meta Pixel)
We may use cookies and similar technologies to help the Site work properly and to understand site performance. Squarespace provides tools for cookie consent banners and privacy/cookie settings.
If we run Facebook/Instagram ads, we may use the Meta Pixel, which is code that helps measure ad effectiveness by understanding actions people take on a website and can support ad optimization and audience building.
Your choices
You can control cookies through your browser settings.
If you prefer, you can use Squarespace’s cookie banner controls (when enabled) to manage non-essential cookies.
4) How we share information
We share information only as needed to operate the Site and respond to you—for example with:
Squarespace (website hosting, forms, site operations)
Advertising/analytics partners (such as Meta, if enabled)
Security/IT providers as needed to protect the Site
We do not sell your personal information for money.
5) Data retention
We keep personal information only as long as reasonably necessary to respond to you, provide requested services, maintain business records, and protect/operate the Site.
6) Security
We use reasonable safeguards designed to protect your information, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
7) Children’s privacy
The Site is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
8) Washington and other privacy rights
Washington: As of recent public trackers, Washington State does not have a single broad, comprehensive consumer privacy law in effect like some other states. However, Washington’s My Health My Data Act creates specific obligations for “consumer health data.” If our business were to collect “consumer health data” as defined by that law, additional disclosures and rights may apply.
Other states: Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, or deletion of certain personal information. We will consider and respond to reasonable requests consistent with applicable law.
